A wide range of painting experience, from the novice to the expert. Studio Twenty meet in our own studio on Saturdays between 1 pm - 5pm and occasional on Wednesdays. We start with a mini lesson/sharing (5 to 10 minutes) on various topics.
A $30 fee per month or $10 per session is charged to help cover rent , special projects and show cost.
After much discussion among the members of Studio XX, the following was decided:
1) Fees - Fees for members will be $30.00 per month and have a 5 month commitment. Total fee per person for the 5 months will be $150, which includes the cost of shows and special projects, and the rental costs of the studio. Fees are due on the first Saturday of each month. Post- dated cheques will be accepted. Fees for Key-holders are $50.00 per month and give the key-holders access to the studio at any time during the week.
2) New attendees - the first visit to the studio is free, the following visit(s) to the end of the month in which they are atttending are $10 per week, after which they are required to pay $30 per month and commit to the next 5 months as above.
3) Guests - Guests attending with members will be required to pay $10 per visit, maximum 3 visits per year. Children are exempt.
4) Special circumstances - If special circumstances arise for a member, they should reach an agreement with the key-holders regarding the variance. Key-holders can confer with the other members, if input is required.
It was general felt that the Studio is an excellent value, and has a great group of people, well most of you. Thanks to Wendy for recording what it was, that we believe, was decided on and all the input from the general membership.
